The EAT Conference is a 3-day culinary discourse that will take place in Kuching, Sarawak, from 27 November to 3 December 2023. The conference aims to address food security issues in Sarawak and support the state's goal of becoming a net food exporter. With over 30 local and international speakers from the food industry, the conference will cover topics such as food security, reducing food waste, alternative protein sources, and reimagining Sarawak's cultural identity through food. The conference will also showcase Sarawak's social enterprises that promote the production and cultivation of indigenous crops. The EAT Conference is jointly organized by the Kuching Chefs Association (KCA), Arc Creators (ARC), and Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), with support from the Sarawak Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, and Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak)
